Vacuum Forming

Vacuum forming is a process where plastic sheet is heated to a high temperature, pre-stretched and then moulded to the shape of the tool. The plastic sheet is held to the tooling by vacuum then once the product is cooled, it is released from the tool and trimmed to the desired shape.

We produce vacuum formings to a wide range of industries throughout the UK and overseas, with production capability of up to 2600 x 2000 x 900mm, and sheet thickness up to 8mm. The material thickness reduces as the height and complexity of the tool increases.
